4x4runner2002 build

well ive been wheeling a bit, made it out to koh and a few other small things. I know my tires are getting low, but ive been waiting for scs to get their next set of wheels in so i could mount new tires on new wheels. hopefully they get them real soon.

Well I'm not super confident in the Goodyear Kevlar's now.
This happened driving down a sandy wash at jawbone canyon over the weekend.

Nice build man!

It seems like SCS can hardly get the wheels off the boat before they are sold out.

This is the only other one that's decent, no more of yours since it was already parked before it got there.

Since you want to see it, I was to lazy to do any editing.

I have a few more pics of mine but the runner looks funny without a fender on it.

ya and the bummer is i really didnt even get to drive it either. oh well

that video looks pretty good, deff rides real damn smooth.

Yea, Next time I need to get some in cab video and undercarriage video. The rear end isn't moving as much as i figured it was. I feel like that video makes its look like it doesn't even move any.

Some new rubber showed up today.
Too bad it'll be a couple weeks before I get my new wheels that go with them
Tires are 285 75 16 cooper st maxx

I have those same tires man, I love them. They're really quiet for how aggressive they are, they are wearing nice and evenly, and have insane grip.

good to hear i can't wait for my wheels so i can try them out. everything i read online about them is very positive. the price was right too. i was able to get 5 for 950 to my door step.

not to mention they look good

My favorite part is the side bite, they have alot of grip on the sidewalls and that'll help in alot of scenarios. I think i got mine for like 850 but mine are 10 ply, I keep them aired down to like 45lbs that way they dont rattle me around to much. For some reason I think the size tires i got were only available in 10 ply, which I decided was fine, ill probably wear out my car before i wear out the tread.

ya have you seen this video? shows how airing them down makes em more puncture resistant.

what size do you have? you got 5 as well? are you gonna rotate the spare in?
mine are load range e so 10 ply as well. I'm used to it as my last set was 10 ply and i think they hold up better when aired down.

I have 265/75/16 so mine are definitely smaller, but i have no lift and that was the biggest size i could fit without rubbing alot. I do not have a spare to match it, i wish i did but for now i dont. My dad has the same tires on his f-250 and theyre still going strong and i know hes put at least 20k on them, and they still look close to new.

Amazing set-up! Makes my new icon lift look puny! What time of year is best to do a Death Valley run? I want to test my Icons on that and the Mojave Road.

Thank you.
It's best to go in the winter cause in the summer it's real hot. The Mojave road is very fun. Lots to see and lots of seat time.
