4x4runner2002 build

If you have room. Stick it inside. Personally I like my tools clean when I use them and not dusty, wet, rusty. Just a thought as to what ever weather conditions you have in your area.

Ya I'm leaning towards the inside. I mean I'm in SoCal so weather doesn't really exist but it's also a lot of weight for that swing out.

Where's those new trailer pics?

you have any idea on how much your trailer weighs!? i really want to build a box on mine like this but I'm already pushing 1800Lb

I don't know empty, but loaded up with a dirt bike and full of gear I was at 2200.

I'll get an empty weight one of these days.

I forgot all about this thing.
Here's some newish pics
No new mods but some should be coming soon.

From the grave I am posting in this thread.

The latest is I broke a motor mount and will be pulling the motor to fix it and do some other maintenance.

Lol, in that case, I hope you can answer me a question regarding the ucas and upper ball joint.

did they fit in easily when you put them in?

Right now I'm at the point where they won't slide into the spindle. I'm gonna try freezing the balls and then torching the spindle upper. If that doesn't work, I'm going to have to disassemble the whole spindle and then press it in. I'm hoping it's juts an alignment problem.

Are you installing them for the first time? Is it the slug adapter that you are having trouble getting into the spindle or the slug adapter into the uniball?

1) Yes, installing for the first time.
2) It's the slug adapter going into the top of the spindle.

I've sanded rust out from the inside of the spindle and tried using grease, no joy.

I'm wondering if you had to press them in or if freezing them was enough.

(and hot damn, thanks for the quick reply)
