5/7 big bear

Clarke' Grade is a piece of cake. I did it with a mtn bike on the back too. I highly recommend checking out Keller Cliffs which is west of Clarke's.

I just realized this is to cruise up to Bear on Sunday. I'm gonna go up on Friday night or Saturday morning and go down Sunday Evening.

I am going up there on Saturday (5/6/17), using a slightly different route, and coming back down on Sunday. I plan to stay off pavement the entire climb, 40+ mile route, barring any closed trails. In checking trails status, it's looking very promising to have everything open all the way. If anyone else is interested in tagging along Saturday morning, say something. Otherwise, lone wolf mission for me.

i'm out for this weekend. wanted to go on a more challenging run but my driver's side cv boot busted and there is a big mess of grease everywhere. while there's many posts on the forum saying i can go ahead and keep driving (likely for thou's of miles) without issue, i probably don't want to wheel it until i replace the cv axles.

have fun tho!

I would do it with you guys but I have a different run on May 7th. OC Marathon.

Nice. Good luck. I'm actually running away from the marathon, since they block the streets around me and it's a traffic jam in all directions.

Heads Up

Expect a lot of Jeep (mainly XJ Cherokees) traffic this weekend, it's NAXJA's SoCal Fest weekend...

Was at big bear today i was hoping to get some snow but I didn't see anything. I hit 3n14 to 3n16 and some other off shoots but couldn't find anything.
