Hello all,

About 5 weeks ago I ordered a Limited 4X2 V6, Pacific Blue / Taupe, with NAV, X-REAS, Sunroof, Side Curtain Air Bags, and Spoiler. I spent about an hour driving the various models and decided on the above.

MSRP was $39, 120 and I ordered it for $35, 400 which is a few hundred over invoice. Dealer also agreed to swap the tires if the truck came with the Bridgestones. Not a bad deal IMO.

As a former 4Runner owner (2000), I know how great and reliable these trucks are, but I was just amazed at the improvements for the 4th generation model.

Can't wait for the truck to arrive and looking forward to becoming an active member here.

I really like the Pacific Blue color on the new 4Runners. It sounds like it is all decked out. Good luck and keep posting away, even if you are 4Runnerless, at least at the moment.

I just read in the Tokyo Journal that the workers at the Toyota Tahara plant, where 4Runners are built, are on strike for at least four months. Sorry, you'll just have to wait a little longer.

Funny guy...but yes, the wait IS killing me.

Strange how the years can just fly by, but when you really want something that badly, time seems to stand still.

Oh well, soon enough.
