5% or 15%

I'm going to tint my runner within the next two months or so, and I gotta decide what to go with also...should i go with 5% or 15% all around? I want the back windows to be IMPOSSIBLE to see into, and the front ones I want dark, but not so dark I can't see at night...I'm also thinking about putting a strip on the windshield

I don't care about what the law is on it...

any input guys?

I would do 15%. 5% is too hard to see out of at night.

I've got 5% and it is impossible to see into. With 15% you will be able to see into the vehicle.

i have 15% and you can see into it a little. and i dont have any problem seeing out at night though

How about doing 5% in the entire cargo area and maybe 15% - 20% on the 4 doors.

I couldn't imagine going any darker than 15%. Might as well put up some wallpaper if you're looking to do 5%. 5% SUCKS at night.

35%/20% combo works good enough for me.

5% takes some getting use to at night, I really don't have a problem with it anymore.

I went with 15% on all the Rears and Rear window. It is very dark and you can barely see in during the day. Backing up at night is difficult. Sometimes I have to roll down my side and rear window to see out at night. I am glad I didn't go darker.

5 % on the Moon Roof - very nice!

35% on the Front Windows (so not to attract to much attention).

If you're not worried about it being legal, go ahead and have the entire front windshield tinted too while you're at it .

My entire front windshield, driver and passenger side doors are all tinted 35%. From there back, every piece of glass has been tinted 20% over the factory tinted glass. It's nice and dark during the day, yet I can still see just fine at night. (Having the windshield tinted gives the illusion that my driver and passenger side doors are darker than 35%.)

ya in your situation, go with 15% on the front 2 and the strip and then go with 5% on the back windows. it will look good

I think I will prolly go with 15% front and on the strip, and 5% all the rest...

I would LOVE to do the windshield but I'm scared I'll get caught for that one lol, keep in mind it IS CALIFORNIA haha

has everybody in here done it themselves? or did you go somewhere, because back home places wont do tint over jobs. and what kind of tinting did you guys use?
