What lift are you considering that will give you 5"?
Pro-Comp 4" here, and it is very high quality and complete. With upgraded shocks, lower gearing, and 33's, it makes a huge difference. No driveshaft lengthening needed.

im looking at getting the rough country 5'' suspension lift

just mainly mud and maybe some rock crawling lol. im looking to get 35s :) Mickey Thompson baja!!!!
 
sounds like you will want to get mtr's! I have always loved the look of the baja claws..... but know nothing of their on road manners.

my 4runner will no longer be driven on road. ittl be only for offroading. im making it into a project truck. im getting a 95 turboed talon awd....daily driver lol
 
All bracket lifts minus Rancho are 4-5". Superlift and Rough Country advertise a 5" lift and what makes them different from the rest is in the instructions is tells you to crank the torsion bars up more but in reality they are all a 4" lift.
