Saw that on craigslist boise too. If I was closer I'd definitely scoop it up. Pull the timing cover off and see if that's truly the fix, or just a crappy diag. Even if you threw a cheapy tbelt and wpump at it to get it running, it'd still be a good deal. If nothing else, you can buy it and part it out.

Guys check back around 4:30 mountain time this afternoon. thats when im going to go look at it, being [MENTION=76617]shallcallhimtim[/MENTION]e with me and we are going to tear into it.
ill be posting pictures up as well so we can see what abuse happens with that many miles.
Remember i have a 96 green sitting at home (missouri) waiting for me to replace the flex plate with 308,000 miles and then do the timing belt on it.
my parents said they will give me it if i come home and fix it.

At the current rate of mileage accumulation, my 4Runner won't reach that mileage for approximately 133 years..

haha, I drive about 1k miles a month, even in college. I've already driven 33k in 3 years... I guess it'll take me another 23 years at the current rate.
