5100 Bilsteins' in the rear-question

Bilstein 33-187174 2" Lift Rear Shock for Toyota FJ Cruiser



This model and PN seem to be the only stock rears I can find in this category. Will they really give me 2" of lift in the back, I could handle .5 or so but 2'' would be to much.

I have 5100's on the front set at .85

Thoughts?

That doesn't sound right. Shocks can't lift the rears bc they are independent of the springs (which do determine ride height). I am guessing these shocks are made to accommodate a 2" lifting spring.

If you look at the " frequently bought together" section of the page you will see this come with adjustable fronts and a spacer lift. You need those spacers to get the lift. So no these will not lift your ride. But they will tolerate a spacer lift down the road.

I was not planning to attempt a lift, just looking for the 5100 rears to match the fronts. Amazon says they will fit, so are they incorrect?

They will fit & work well on the rear if you don't have a lift. In my opinion they're to short for a 2" lift.
