5100's @2.5" vs. TRDP alignment

Hi all!

Please forgive me if I am wrong, but a TRDP essentially has a 2.5 inch lift from the factory, does any one know if their alignment specs are different from the NONTRDP trucks? Do they have the same control arm setup as the rest of us or is that set up different?

With my 5100's, while I am within spec, it doesn't handle the same as it did without the lift and I cant see Toyota selling something that isn't "just right".

So Does anyone know if the specs are the same or if the TRDP has something different aside from the coil/shock unit?

Thank you!

I may be wrong, but my understanding is that the TRDP is a 1.0" lift up front. I can't answer regarding the UCAs, but I can say that in my research into a 5100 2.5 front lift, I found that most recommended replacing the UCAs. I did and mine rides much better than stock. I hope this is helpful.

TRD is an additional 1inch lift in the front I believe as stated above.
At 2.5" you should get aftermarket UCAs.
I just got a 2 inch lift in the front and my tech got it into spec and it rides great, but it took a while. When I told him I was at first thinking of going 2.5 inches in the front he said he was glad I didn't. Would've needed aftermarket UCAs or the handling would've suffered.

TRD Pro = 1.25-1.5 inch lift (essentially an in between setting of the .85 and 1.75 5100 settings and similar to the 6112 2nd notch which yields 1.25"). At 2.5" it will be a coin flip if your alignment tech can get it near factory spec with stock UCA's (most can't).
