5125 rear shocks from toytec.

After reading tons of posts about rear shocks I ordered the 5125's off of toytec's site. I have a 3" lift OME 890's in the rear. As it sits with the new 5125's, there is only about 4" of upward travel left on the shock. Is this typical or are mine too long? I pulled one side of the truck up on an incline to depress the shock and it was probably an inch from being totally compressed and the wheel wasn't even close to tucked. Seems like it should go more???

I had to cut the original zip ties on the shock boots because they were so compressed the ribs were folding down and touching the lower shock mount.

Just installed the 5125's with the OME 890's last weekend and finally got the rear sway bar back on this evening. I probably won't have a chance to really beat on them until I get the truck on real trails in July, but I wouldn't be too concerned. I've had the 5100 adjustables up front for about 8 months and they've responded great. So far, they seem a bit squishy, but I'm fine with it. Toytec says there fine to work with the 890's. I trust 'em so far and have other folks' to verify their stuff. Lot better than what I had on there -

I wanted to get the ones Sonoran Steel sells, since it is a stud top and does not require the adapter, but they will only sell then with their kits. Or the Tokiko Trekmasters would have been nice too but they are discontinued.

i have the 5125s in the back and they are perfect for the 3rd gen
