Selling 5th gen 2011-2019 Accessorides remote start system for "G-Key" (not push to start vehicles). Nothing wrong with it, just switching to Viper system. It is plug and play and uses the OEM fob. Perfect for warming up or cooling down your 4Runner before you get in! $230 shipped

I contacted Accessorides regarding my key being programmed in the module. They gave me reset instructions so it will work on other vehicles.

MODULE RESET

- With the ignition off disconnect all connectors from the main module.

- Press and HOLD the button on the side of the module. Continue holding the button while plugging the two main black connectors in (the one with the thick wires and the 2nd largest black connector)

- Once the LEDs start blinking RED you can release the button. Plug the rest of the connectors back in to the module. Now the module is reset and you can redo the original programming procedure

if this is used, your key is already programed to the brain, needs to be reflashed to clear out your key for other users to actually use, not sure if any compustar dealers out there are willing to do that for you.

I'm not sure how Compustar is relevant to Accessorides. The Accessorides comes with instructions to program it to work with your vehicle. Its not truly 100% plug and play in that you must program it but the programming instructions that are provided are easy to follow.

cm-dc3 is a compustar brain

actually firstech.

i would keep this and add a long range remote or do drone mobile, i think you can change some option and turn this to a full alarm and remote start.
add a siren and starter kill relay and the digital tilt sensor.

might need to buy the web programmer and make an account, not sure it you will get full access to it.

when you first used this on your truck, you have programmed your key code for the bypass to work, its built into the brain. the older model cm 7000 and 7200 use a blade module or if doing the externally its a small box.
dc3 has the built in bypass, just need to have it flashed with the right firmware.
