Appreciate you getting back to me with the info. I like the 4Runner very much Rear Bumper?, strictly a bolt on, no welding or cutting? It does look good and that is something I will be ordering without the tire carrier. Any idea what it weighs? Revtec Lift, which one are you running on? I am thinking three inch OME with SPC upper control arms

I don't endorse or recommend the revtek lift - it's been my worst mod. As for the rear bumper, yes there is cutting involved. It's heavy, somewhere between 150-200lbs. You will absolutely need to run a heavier spring rate if you plan on running bumpers. To give you an idea of what you're up against, my truck is nearly 6,000lbs right now with me in it and all of my standard gear that I carry. I would recommend getting the tire swing out if you get a rear bumper - the added functionality and versatility is great. One thing to keep in mind - if you're just doing a rear bumper for looks, I would strongly urge you to save your money. Adding a bumper to a truck that doesn't really need it is really not worth the weight/fuel mileage trade off IMO.

Actually my fuel mileage went up because I moved my jack and fuel cans from the roof to the butt of the truck, so the slip stream helped aerodynamics. But as has been pointed out the bumper itself is 200lbs, the swing arm is at least 65, add an 80lb tire, jack, and jerry cans and it's at least 350lbs. I love the bumper but it's an involved install and you have to address the suspension at the same time.

Sierra Expeditions installed the 2014 White T4R and said it took over 19 hours to install. I have heard that ARB is modifying the current bumper for the 14+. Southern Style Speed Hybrid bumper is a great looking option if you don't want a full fledge bumper.

I love my ARB bumper and CBI rear bumper with swing out with tire carrier. What ever you like the best, just wait for the one you want.

It wasn't particularly difficult once you figured out what the instructions were trying to tell you, but a lot of time was spent reading, re-reading, looking at the grainy black and white pictures, holding different brackets up to the truck in various positions, re-re-RE-reading, then finally bolting a piece on. The CBI rear was much easier, although the instructions for the cut line are pretty bunk. The rear was one evening to put on, then a couple hours the next morning pissing around with prepping and installing the swing out.

There's like no instructions for the swing arm, "see all those random bolts and washers, put them somewhere, because screw you!"

ARB Front Bumper Installation

Recently put my ARB front bumper on my 2012 SR5. Directions were a pain for sure. Make sure to read and re-read them before you even start. If you go onto the ARB website, they have the installation instructions on there in color, which I had to reference a couple of times. Separate all of your hardware into an egg carton or two to stay organized. Took me about two solid days to complete the installation without any help.

The actual mounting was easy. The only issue I had was that the middle "stone guard" was manufactured with the front mating flange bent in the wrong direction. Emailed ARB, they ordered a replacement, but it's been 3 weeks and I still don't have it.
