Got my refund no questions asked. I think everyone who has done this mod has successfully returned their cores without any issues. I just wish it didn't cost me $80 to ship them back...

if you can fit them in a usps flat rate box they ship for a flat rate.... 80 dollars seem excessive. even 2 flat rate boxes should have been more than 30.

I did front and rear. Wasn't that much more and figured better safe than sorry.
Still a little puzzled by all of this.
Is the 4Runner Sport plagued by the seized caliper issue as well?
It already has different calipers than the SR5 and Limited, no?
...and I think I read somewhere that the 5th gen and 4th gen Sport share the same size calipers. Are they the same or should Sport owners think about doing this swap as well?

Centric has been great. Everything looked really good out of the box and has performed perfectly for 5k miles. Non contact parts of the rotor were painted to prevent corrosion.
I went with centric calipers and rotors, Napa premium pads.
I changed all pads, rotors and calipers. Fronts and rears.
If you order from rock auto, keep your tags and original boxes matched to each part when you send them back to get your full refund. Also choose the option to print the shipping tags from rock auto as they have a deal with FedEx and it's much cheaper than shipping yourself. I paid $24 total (12 each) with the rock auto shipping labels to ship 2 heavy boxes, 2 rear calipers from Chicago to California and 2 front calipers from Chicago to Arizona. I got my full refund back for all 4 calipers no questions asked.
Best investment in my truck yet. I recently drove cross country through the western mountains and I was so happy I did so before that trip. Brakes perform perfectly.

I just upconverted my 2005 sr5 v8 to 2010 Centric calipers all around and 2010 rotors on the front. I *tried* to upgrade the rotors in the rear but was told the rotors were not hub-centric and would not work. The new rear calipers *did* work with the old rear rotors.
All parts were 2010 t4r Centric parts ordered from Rock Auto according to the part # information I found here on the website.
Not sure whether anyone else has experienced this but just an FYI...

Yes, I believe they were the same size (hence the ability to use the new caliper on the old rotor), but I was told the new ones were not hub-centric and therefore did not mount properly. Simply reused the old rotors with the new calipers and pads... I was not there and did not see with my own eyes so I'm getting this 2nd hand from the tech (he does know his stuff).
Ordering the parts for my rears now. I have a warped rotor for sure and worried it may be the seized caliper issue.
I know the rear has integrated parking break etc. As far as I know my parking brake is fine.
All I need if I want to do my rear calipers is:
1) The calipers listed at the beginning of this thread (#s 14144587 & 14144588)
2) Potentially new lines (since you are in there)
3) 5th gen rear rotors (anyone have part numbers? - Can't find on Rockauto)
4) 5th gen rear pads
Is there anything additional needed? Do I need anything special to have it "hook up" with the parking brake mechanism? DO I need to replace anything in the parking brake while I am in there?
