5th Gen Colors! Whats on the road?

I loved looking through the pictures of the 5th Gen 4runners. The question popped in my head, what color are you 4Running with? Lets keep this poll about what's on the road, and not a wish list.

I have only had mine for a few days but everyone at the dealership said this was the first red one they had seen (we had to get it from another dealership). LOVE the color!

The red would have been my second choice, but the blue is still my favorite. And I paid $38,954 + T/T/L, don't let that dealer get away with $45K.

I didn't know it at the time, but you were at the LC dealership the day we bought the TE. :bluejump: I traded in my FJ for it... my salesman was telling me about the rack you had installed on your T4R. Looks awesome!

Yeah, they had to get it from Renton... if they couldn't find us a red, the blue was our 2nd pick.

Out and about I've seen loads of white and black SR5s and Limited. After that I've seen a few silver and fewer dark silver. I've not seen a single red SR5 that wasn't on a dealer lot, though.

I've only seen 1 or 2 TEs at all. The one I definitely recall seeing was black, but it was on a dealer lot.

Of the very few 5th gens I see on the road, White Limited models have been the most common. I've seen 1 black, 1 grey, and 2 silvers. Have yet to see the pretty blue or red. There was a red TE for sale at the dealership when I had my first service performed.

Similar situation for me....I have a red one...I recently went to the dealer to obtain some accessories and one employee mentioned how he remembered mine because it is so rare (as evidenced in the poll above) in particular the 4x4 with third row option.

He said: I distinctly remember the order for this one because it was so rare and still is. Its a tough color to find.... he mentioned. Albeit the dealer did not "find" it for us, technically they just ordered it to spec ...which is just why Toyota has my vote.


I hope red continues to remain on the tail end of the distribution!!!

I like black cars with all the windows tinted. We now have 2 black SUVs in my garage. My last 3 cars have been black. The only drawback is trying to keep it clean. That blizzard pearl looks nice also.
Speaking of paint, any good ideas on paint protectant/sealer?

So far I seem to be the only TE in my area, most of the ones I've seen are Limiteds or SR5 and so far only one in mag grey...hehehe I love th looks I'm gettin...

Same here in So Cal... a few White limiteds and one other Mag Gray on the road so far. I guess the typical blizzard Pearl driver doesnt visit these forums :shrug:
