So last night was the 1st time I saw a 5th gen on a Toytoa ad! It was as general ad for most of their cars/trucks/suvs, but I was shocked to actually see a new 4R featured in it, twice! I know people say they have tons of ads in their area, but that was the 1st I have seen here. Tons of 4R (all gens) on the road around here too.

P.S> Of course the new 11' Jeep GC 'teaser' ad followed it, go figure. Athough from the shots it showed it looks like it has the same, or close to, the same crawl feature as the TE. They do not have the details up on their website yet, just teasing people for now. I do like the Jeeps but they feel/are too small for me. I will say the interior looked amazing, but I'm sure you will pay $$$$$ for it too.

I saw many 3 year old Jeep GCs that had MANY issues. They squeaked, rattled and had electrical issues. I have not heard any news to change my mind on the poor quality builds of the Jeeps yet. Only time will tell.

Tempting, and has some features the 4Runner lacks including a power liftgate and HIDs, but Jeep reliability scares me.

Regarding the GC..

I drove a loaded out '09 GC as a work vehicle for a while, I know the '11 is redesigned, but I must say.. the 4R is head and heels above the current GC as far as roominess, interior comfort, and design. Also, the GC seemed to loosen up with time.. started off tight but just not built like a 4R. I also drove an '04 GC for a few years as well and had plenty of issues with it mechanically.. I am still a Jeep guy and loved my '06 Rubicon until I traded it in for the 4R. I miss the Ruby at times but I can say I'm reformed now and am a 4R enthusiast through and through.
