5th Gen Modding Nostalgia

I just picked up my first 4R, a '19 TRD ORP and I love it! I've started a few mods already and noticed how nostalgic it has become for me. I grew up an avid R/C hobbyist. I had a few Tamiya monster trucks (Blackfoot, Clodbuster) and a few other cars as well. With that being said I feel my 4R is just a giant R/C car (an expensive one!) especially as I install mods, etc. Anyone feel the same?

Not quite R/C, but in 2004 when I was in my early 20's, I bought a 2-year-old Nissan Xterra in white. It was the first vehicle I bought with my money and it was one I was very proud of.

Modded it and wheeled it hard. It took me to many parts of midwest and eastcoast for camping and wheeling, meeting new people before social media as we know it was around. So I bought my white '19 new because it reminded me of that rig so much. I even wanted the Runner in the same color. Though I probably don't wheel the 4runner as hard (I mean, I really beat on that Xterra with no mercy), I still get many of the same vibes as I did back then.
