5th Gen Needed for Design Donor

In exchange for letting Jason use your 5th gen for this, he is offering the bumper he builds for just the cost of materials ($400).

Ouch, that's not a very good deal for parting with a 5G4R for a few days...

Really? You are getting a $1200 bumper for $400. If I was closer I would do it in a heart beat.

So far I have spent $ 170 on metal. I have also used welding gas and wire, but cant really put a cost on that. Also some sandpaper and grinding wheels. Anyway, I would say that I will have around $200-$250 when I am all done. Then it has to go to the powder coater and I am sure they will charge me at least $100. Also I have not paid myself anything to build it. I am sure he has a couple guys that he is paying by the hour.

In any case, $400 sounds about right.

Just talked to Jason Perkins today and no one has called him as of yet, no one wants to have one of the first 5th gen winch bumper for the price of cost??

I know Jason has built his first 5th gen roof rack for a member here so no one wants to be the first with a bumper?
