5th gen shocks/springs on a 4th gen?

anyone running 5th gen shocks/springs & do they fit without modifying? i see a lot of good deals on stock 5th gen parts & am considering using them on a 08 sport. how would they ride & perform compared to stock oem 4th gen non xreas shocks?

I have 5th gen rear Radflo springs.. I believe the rest of the kit bolts right in..
Slight modification to bolt holes for shocks is possible but im not even sure thats the case..
The rear springs for the 5th gen are slightly stiffer to compensate for weight.

They should all ride fine, maybe slightly stiffer then the equivalent 4th gen parts.

I have Bilstein 5100’s and 4 new 5th gen trail springs (front and back). Ride is great and added about 1/2” of lift and leveled out the front by setting the shocks to .75” in the front. Search for my write up I posted a bunch of photos.
