5th Gen Side mirror swap 10-13 to 14+

Tried searching, but was mostly seeing 4th gen to 5th gen mirror swap threads. Is it possible to put the 2014+ side mirrors on a 2010? If so, is it plug and play regarding heat, puddle lights Etc? I just prefer the look and was interested if it could be done. Pic for reference!

I would like to, but it would be a $300ish dollar gamble. I am curious enough that I might try it, but would rather be for sure

I have a 2010 trail and I didn’t have puddle lights or blinkers so when I swapped to 2015 side mirrors I made sure to get a set without puddle lights or blinkers and it was a direct swap. I got a set from eBay for $200 shipped, they weren’t the right color but you can pull off the back cover and paint them (I just rattle canned mine flat black).

Awesome, I currently have the puddle lights and blinkers but if it fits nicely maybe the electrical is just plug and play. The goal is to slowly turn it into a14+ ( it’s a 2010 LE, which in my area is relatively rare)

The fit is identical, you could probably take your side mirror off and look at the plug, then go to Toyota and look at a new one in the parts department to see if it matches just to be positive. Good luck with the change, I really like the new mirrors.
