5th Gen Spotted Thread

Corolla NC and Carova NC

For Mother's Day my wife requested a day at the beach with the kids. On the drove down from Chesapeake we saw about 10 5th Gen's leaving as we were driving in. After lunch, we drove out on the beach at Corolla and found a spot to set up for a few hours. Only saw two 5th Gen's on the beach.

- A Magnetic Grey 2010-2013 SR5 drove by around 2pm and waved as you drove by.

-Later we drove up to Carova and saw a Salsa Red Pearl parked with a group of Pickup's and a Black Land Cruiser. Looked like you guys were having a good time.

On the way home I road alone with a modified 4Runner from 168 to Battlefield Blvd. You took Centerville Turnpike and I continued on Battlefield.

- Modified Limited Magnetic Grey Runner - lifted about 3 inches - running 285's on black 18 inch rims. You had a EASTERN sticker on the back window. Also had two wide cross bars attached for transporting kayak/boats/cargo. You appeared to have been at the beach with the family as well.

I waved but I think the setting sun preventing you from seeing.

Spotted a Black 2010-2013 Limited, blacked out. Had spacer lift and 285 tires on 20" black rims. Had a nice roof rack with high lift and other items. This was at Red Lobster in Lynwood on Mothers day.

Also spotted on Mothers day a Blacked out Trail at Fred Meyers in Issaquah. Had Icon coil overs, 305 KM2 Tires on black rims.

First time saw 2014 4Runner on the road. Spotted on QEW somewhere between Oakville and Burlington at about noon. White (or pearl) Limited, lifted roof rack looking like Gobi with ladder. It has black wheels with AT looking tires. I think rocker panels was removed, but I'm not sure, my wife became nervous from me trying to take a better look on this 4Runner on highway. I tried to wave, but I think driver didn't notice me. Wondering if it was somebody from this forum : )

Over the past week I've seen at least: 2 different Shoreline Blue LE's, Silver LE with New Jersey plates that's been around for about 2 years, Mag Grey LE and Silver SR5 in my neighbourhood, a White and Black 2014 LE, Black and White 2014 TE, Silver SR5, and 2 black SR5's all around the Clayton Park/Rockingham area.

I doubt any of you are on here .

Today I spotted three bone stock BP's at Home Depot as I was pulling in and then saw a BP 2014 driven by a grandma while driving home. Made me both happy and sad at the same time...

Who was at Salt Lick yesterday? 5/18 around 3pm. Pretty sure it was a Blizzard Pearl TE conversion, lift, black wheels and a Gobi rack and ladder. Looking good!!

Spotted a Shoreline Blue TE in Plano on Preston Road on Saturday. It was a '10-'13 model, stock and had factory running boards and no cross bars on the rack. My guess is it was a Canadian transplant since TE's don't come that way around here and it had the latest style Texas license plates, newer than the model year of the truck.

This makes a grand total of three other TE's I've spotted in DFW in 2 1/2 years. Waved and got a response...he was checking out my rig pretty closely.

There are only a few of us on the forum from the SF Bay area. Saw this guy at Fridays on El Camino and Hillsdale. Nice looking truck. Anyone on here? Mine is the white one.

Mag Gray with a Gobi ladder, tints and couldn't see anything else as I passed. Parked outside the winter garage @ Mohegan Sun Casino about 5 min ago

Spotted a mag gray (SR5?) in Crystal City / Arlington, VA with MD Tags - not lifted I don't think but was sporting some aftermarket black rims.

Saw a sweet silver TE in crested butte today. Lifted, gobi rack, ARB or Shrockworks bumper...

Lots of 4R hanging around town. Wish I had my 4R but breaking in the wife's GX460 nicely
