Spotted in SoCal 11/7 @ 7:10pm, 405S at Manchester:
Mag grey, lifted, black wheels, MTs, plate front and rear bumpers (not sure what kind), full rack, snorkel, and prob a whole lotta other mods!
Awesome rig!! I was in the Mag grey '14 LE with ummm, no visible mods except Thule crossbars.:wave:
That was me...funny, most stock-looking 4Runners around here don't react to other 4Runners but saw that you did! :thumb3: I was busy working and driving, lol...standard 405 traffic.
I think there are only two of us in this area that have snorkels...so a dead give away.

Really thought I saw a black or mag grey w/ full length rack and ladder this evening around 7:00 or so.
Never seen a rig like that in my neck of the woods; could have been just wishful thinking.

I got to watch two guys "spot" my 4Runner in the parking lot of Red White and Brew in NE Mesa Az as I had a late lunch with the family. Watched them take pics, walk all the way around and then cross a bit of a line laying on the ground to check out my sliders and skid plates. Luckily they drove away in a lifted 2014 4Runner so I'm sure it was just appreciation.
Am I being anal thinking that crawling under a strangers truck in a parking lot is violating car guy etiquette???

Nope. I do this from time to time, taking pics as well. It does get awkward when owners catch me though.

I was trying to find someplace to have breakfast in College Station yesterday. As I pulled through the parking lot of the first FULL restaurant I spotted a 5th Gen Limited with no mods parked in a motel parking lot behind it. I parked right next to it and jumped out and measured the fender heights from the ground because I had forgotten what they were from the factory. Then I got back in mine and reset the Garmin to find another place to eat breakfast. No harm no foul. :nerd:

I'm working in that area for probably the next year (oil rig). I think they had a bye yesterday thankfully. I found out to stay out of there during their home games last week. And now I know not to try and eat a sit down breakfast there between 8 - 11 am on Saturdays. Unless I want Micky D's. And most of the 4Runners I've seen around here are driven by women who could care less if that's another 4R in the lane next to them.

I went to school there. You maybe better off eating at a Mexican place over by the high school in college station well at least when I was there it was like that.

Spotted today around 1:30 pm just west of Dublin, CA on 580 west. Newer 5th Gen and looked like a female driving. Wish I was driving my truck but as always when I spot a truck I was in my Corolla.
We are usually in our Corona when we see others around town too. We seldom see 4Runners in ours. (or maybe we don't look for them).

Three modified 5th gens on the way to work today! I was driving east to work in the am on 470, this is the second time in a couple weeks I've seen modified 5th gen's heading the other direction. A white with bull bar, a mag gray with gobi rack and ladder and a dark lifted. Saw an awesome 2014 last week that was lifted... Any on here???

Nice...yes, the silver T4R with the chargers logo on the back. Nice rig too! Would have slowed down but my son is on the race team and needed to get him to practice...
Did you hit the slopes?...looked like you were taking photos.
