Man I saw a TON of runners on the way home today. It was weird. Normally I'll see 2-3 but I saw more like 12 or more. My 4runner awareness was high.

But there was one that stood out a bit. It was completely stock but a brand new silver '15 SR5, no plates yet. I passed him on the freeway n the next lane, he had his window down enjoying his awesome new ride He passed me again and we went back and forth for several miles. He gave me a thumbs up at one point when we were side by side, I waved back.

10 miles later it's time for my exit and he's behind me. He comes up along side on the offramp and asks about my front bumper. I quickly yell back to log onto t4r.org and look up "Warthog" before the light went green. He ended up following me practically up my street so must be nearby.

Maybe he'll sign up! (Do I get a commission?!?)

Spotted an Inferno TRDP 4Runner entering the 405N freeway from somewhere around Jefferson.

Spotted in Staten Island a few nights ago, in the KMart shopping plaza on Hylan Blvd- A black TE, early 5th Gen, black wheels, with the center part of one of those big brush guards that usually cover the headlights too. Couldn't tell if it had a lift. I was driving an FDNY Ford Excursion. I couldn't get a picture we were both moving in different directions.

SR5/Limited to Trail conversion?

Spotted in Irvine, CA in the Woodbury plaza by Ralphs on 2/8/15 around 930pm. I thought it was a Trail that upgraded to the Limited at first... but then realized that the 2010-2013 Trails don't come in White. My question is... if you went through the trouble of putting on a OEM Trail rack and body kit and took off the Limited badging... why didn't you do the OEM trail door handles? Looked like there was aftermarket rear bumper too of some sort.. Nonetheless, awesome job!

Spotted a black TE in my building on Constellation Blvd in Century City this afternoon. All black TE with black wheels, lift, Gobi stealth rack with LEDs up front. Rig looked great!

Just got back from Maui and saw a couple 4Runners that stood out...

First was a 14'/15' Black with aftermarket wheels/tires and maybe a small lift... saw it frequently between Maalea and Waikapu area.

Second was a silver 5th gen with plastidipped wheels arches and fog light surrounds in the Ka'anapali beach Hotel parking lot.

Saw a Magnetic Grey TE in Walt Disney World. He was pulling an offroad trailer. I am sure that he has to be on this board since the truck looked like it had mods...

We were on a two lane road and I was on the phone and when I saw the TE coming towards me, I waived from the inside the cabin and he waived back. Kind of cool, I am only used to getting waives back when I am riding my motorcycle.

It looks best to me when I look straight at the sun for about 10 minutes and then look at this rig.

The doors need to be painted as well to connect the 2-tone look. To me it doesn't look finished but I don't like 2-tone vehicles anyway. Somebody photoshop it so we can all see if it works.

Saw a sweet black SR5 tonight. Lifted, 285s (I think), ARB front bumper with winch and light bar. You were parked at St. David's Episcopal in Terrell Hills. Looked great.

No the headlights and tail lights match the model year, I think that's just someone's personal taste. Its unique!

Spotted a black 5th Gen in Houston on FM 1960 between Jones and 290. Seen them in this area a few times. Lifted with ARB front bumper.

Could you have mistaken the type of bumper? I am on 1960 alot
