The customer service field in general sucks and that's anywhere you go. Like I said though there are those few places that we all like. I mean I work for a dealership but I'm not a fanboy that will stand behind some of the stuff that happens here. It's hard to find a decent mechanic or sales person anywhere these days.

I have no issues with dealer mechanics. For the most part they are decent enough guys who are getting shit on by a ****ed up system of compensation, greedy and manipulative service advisers and dealers, and disrespectful and disloyal customers.
However, I think dealers and service managers / the service manager are generally sacks of shit. Their interest is in making a profit and they often turn their back on the customer to facilitate that.
For that reason, I won't advertise for a dealer, and I only go in to the dealer to get a part that is not available outside the OEM network, to actually buy a new vehicle, or to get warranty service.
