5th Gen Spotted Thread

The customer service field in general sucks and that's anywhere you go. Like I said though there are those few places that we all like. I mean I work for a dealership but I'm not a fanboy that will stand behind some of the stuff that happens here. It's hard to find a decent mechanic or sales person anywhere these days.

Is that better? And no I'm not trying to be a smart ass right now either

I have no issues with dealer mechanics. For the most part they are decent enough guys who are getting shit on by a ****ed up system of compensation, greedy and manipulative service advisers and dealers, and disrespectful and disloyal customers.

However, I think dealers and service managers / the service manager are generally sacks of shit. Their interest is in making a profit and they often turn their back on the customer to facilitate that.

For that reason, I won't advertise for a dealer, and I only go in to the dealer to get a part that is not available outside the OEM network, to actually buy a new vehicle, or to get warranty service.

Ate at Chili's in Clairemont Square again today, and when we came out there was a shiny black Trail parked next to Megaweapon. It's equipped with Shrockworks sliders and has Minnesota plates:

Spotted on Friday

At Grand Theatre 14 (Kaliste Saloom) in Lafayette, Louisiana on Friday night. Forgot to take pictures, but spotted two 5th gens that I think I've seen on here. One red 2014+ with yellow fog light film and stickers all over the back.
The second was a silver 4Runner 2010-2013 with plastidipped hood with hood scoop and a gobi rack ladder.

I see this 5th Gen parking in the Fox Tower garage where I work in Downtown Portland. Nice ride with T4R.ORG sticker in the side window.

Saw a Red SR5/TRDP @ 1604 and Blanco

Caught a 14+ Red SR5 with TRD Pro wheels, lift, blacked out rear badges, and a Gobi Rack and Ladder today on my car DVR on my way to lunch. Really great looking rig!

Will try to, but with a 140mph closure rate and wide median between us, not sure it will do much good! Would have loved to snap a pic, but barely had time to read Bold Overland on side of truck, which was only way I found it was you!
