I have a suggestion, if you removed part of the tray rail it would allow the tray to be moved slightly back which may not seem like much but it is just enough for me to be able to reach credit cards, door bags, etc. stored in the lower front pocket. Some pics of my modification.

Got my organizers (ordered all 3) and I had the same thought about the tray.
But I'm really liking the setup overall.

Another thought I had was for the glovebox organizer. Maybe make an L shaped piece that is notched to fit in the two right slots to divide the upper, but still leave the lower undivided for the storage of the owner's manual.
Of course, a bump in price would be required, but you could sell it as an add on option..
heck, you could even see about making 2 that are T-shaped so people cold add one or two more slots on top.
But overall, excellent product!

I agree. I have a usb/3-prong plug adapter plugged in, it's a little too tall, luckily it has a bending neck. To use it I have to remove the tray. Sliding it back might allow just enough room to not have to remove it.

Does anyone mind sharing the dimensions of their center console tray? Width, length of entire tray, and how wide the 'lip' that holds the tray up is?

Edit: I have no intent of copying the product; I just want to know whether I would be able to customize for my own uses before I made the purchase (I want to compartmentalize more, add coin holder, sunglass spot, etc.). If the original Salex designer has any opposition to this, please say so and I will delete my post.

The tray is 7.5" wide under the flange for hanging, 8.25" wide to the outside of the hanging flanges. 7.75" front to back and 3" tall. The two pockets are 3.25" x 7.25" x 1.75" deep.

how about a scan of the product, that way you can make a templet and try it out before you buy it. Or even modify it to fit the way you wanted

I have the lower. I had one for my Tacoma as well and they're awesome! I bolted in my universal holster which is my main purpose for buying it. Keeps it very secure and I can still adjust retention for holster depending on gun setup.

I have had the lower one for a while now. It is great. Just an FYI, a Fiji square water bottle fits perfectly.
