ETA: My Rocky Road sliders shipped yesterday. How are the weathertech's working out? Pics here or elsewhere? I am looking at them for the rear seat - I have autozone cheap rubber mats which fit great up front, but the rear ones are pretty small.

i haven't gotten them dirty yet - we are only planning on taking the 4runner on long drives, camping trips, and off road, and driving our corrolla in the city - but they fit great. the back ones actually seem to fit a little more "snug" than the front. here are a few pics of the back ones.

I've had the weathertechs in my Runna for over a year now. They are pretty good, and like he said, the back does seem to fit a little tighter than the front, not that the front as loose though. I have them in my Tacoma as well and for the most part, I'm pretty satisfied with them. Much better than the Toyota rubber mats. They are also pretty easy to clean as well, just hose them down and hit them w/ some sort of soap and a stiff bristle brush.

American Racing Slot Chrome

New here and just wanted to say hi and show off my new wheels. I traded in an 05 rangerover for this beauty. I wish they offered a V8! Maybe a supercharger will be offered in the near future. After looking at wheel/tire/lift pictures for hours......days.......weeks. I ordered the toytec ultimate lift (put it on myself), decided to GO CHROME or go home! American Racing Slot chrome wheels and 285 terra grapplers. For all of you flat black guys, put on your shades before you look at the pics! :toilet: :biggrin2:

I traded a 2003 Land Rover Discovery SE7 for this.. 2011 SR5, 3rd row Leather and Sunroof. Drives 100X better than the Land Rover (it had 120K miles) and drives much better than the Tacoma. The steering is better than the Tacoma and the suspension is more of a suspension. (I love my Tacoma but this is just a plusher softer ride.)

Honestly, I did not detect any difference in the reception.

The stubby seems entirely dependent on your location. Where I lived in eastern Oregon and tried the stubby, the reception was noticeably degraded. However, many of the radio stations that I listened to were distant (30-45 miles away). In a metro area like DC, the reception is reported much better. Its kind of hit or miss. I'm back to the stock antenna, as it has provided the best reception for me so far, and I'm usually listening to XM at any rate.

Hi Liam, looking at the top left image of your 4r, it appears you have silver cross bars? (unless my eyes deceive me, a little hard to see) I thought they only came in black..I'm looking to order some, wondering if they are indeed silver and how you got em..

I searched the site for silver crossbars and didn't see anything..

Hmmm, hold on one second, let me go out in garage and check...
ok, the cross bars ( ones that go across the roof) are indeed black. The rails are silver/ chrome. Even in the light of the garage it was hard to tell.

Nothing really too special here. Just a 2011 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4X4 Black Leather, etc.

Plans for Truck

-window tint (5%)
-shorty antenna
-running boards (lady friend is 5'2")
-new rims (black, not sure what size)
-new rubber (some sort of aggressive tread, not sure what size)
-maybe a slight lift (i have no idea where to start on that)
-maybe TRD air filter

nice runner, if you dont plan on offroading muc just get a daystar spacer lift, but make sure to get your steps first haha

if it were mine id go with some 17'' fuel offroad wheels. their line up is Bad A$$. and then some 285's. jmo though haha
