This is my first mod, some N-Fab nerf bars. I think they look awesome on my new 2013 TE...
I am thinking about getting a lift but I do not want to void my warrantee.. Do you guys have any tips? I want new tires eventually too, even if I don't get a lift.
If I dont get a lift I can run the stock 265/70/17 BFG AT's without an issue right? Those tires look siiiiick

The '13 SR5 still uses the "Part Time" 4x4 - They simply omitted the shift lever in lieu of the electronic selector knob - not sure why - but seems to work OK and I like the console layout better w/o the Transfer Case lever...
Pics of the 1" Wheel Spacers I installed yesterday (with the stock 17" SR5 Rims and 265/70R17 BFG All-Terrains). I think they look perfect. I had to do the quick fender-liner mod up front - but after that no rubbing that I can tell!
With a light-foot, I still averaged 22MPG on my drive to work today - but that will go down if I dig in even a little or drive more than a few miles off the highway. I also have 300-400lbs of Audio Gear in this truck - and still get over 20MPG as long as I make a conscious effort towards fuel economy...

I must say that is a good looking 4 runner. This is the same set up that I want to run on my wifes new 4 runner. Her's is only 2wd but I have always ran BFG's on my trucks and her suv's.
My question is do you have a leveling kit on the front of your 4 runner? Well the stock size tire 265/70 R-17 rub with the BFG's. If so wonder why since it is the same size as factor. Also one more question did you running boards come with your 4 runner or did you buy them afterwards?

No leveling kit, but the massive audio install did lower my REAR by almost an inch making it appear more level than stock. I have a slight driver's side lean - and I'm hoping to address it with the Bilstein 5100's set to 1.5" Front Drivers side and 0.75" Front Passenger side to level the truck further...
Without the 1" wheel spacers, I didn't seem to rub at all. Since I added the 1" spacers, I had to slide the front inner fender liners forward to prevent rubbing at full lock. It wasn't too hard at all - took maybe 15 minutes max.
The All-Terrains have a wider contact-patch, so their tread is effectively wider than the stock tires of the same "size". I believe this is why they have a chance of rubbing even when using "stock" sizes...
PS - Running Boards are stock. I like them as I take my parents out to dinner a few times a month, and my mom has a hard enough time getting in and out of my truck WITH the running boards! I'm pondering removing them - but time will tell...

Looks awesome Randyman! I look forward to seeing more photos. I just purchased my 2012 4Runner in December and haven't had the chance to do much more than tint the windows and put in weathertec mats. Next on my list is the 1" spacers. What kind did you go with and where did you get them (if you don't mind me asking)?

Lolz - See here for details (and scroll down for some updated pics). The box isn't light, but the three W12GTi subs, all the amps + wires, and the deadening weigh a shit-ton
! Then, there's the extra ~20lbs of deadening in each door, plus the heavy-ass Diehard Platinum 31M in the stock location. This system weighs a ton (well, not literally )Thanks again! I currently have the Addicted Offroad 1" spacers as they were the only 1" ones I could find (the rest were 1.25" or 1.5"). They work, but they aren't "Hub Centric" like my factory wheels are and I'm getting a bit of wobble (minor, but annoying). I could swap to conical lug-nuts as Addicted Offroad suggested I do, but I'd prefer to retain the stock Hub Centric mounting for a "perfect" mount. I'm swapping to a set of All-Pro Off Road 1.25" hub-centric spacers. I'll have the 1" Addicted Offroad spacers up in the classifieds next week for a great price if anyone is interested.

I'd approximate 300+lbs sitting on top of the rear axle (plus other additional weight towards the front of the vehicle). A full sheet of 3/4" MDF, and those speakers weigh over 30lbs ea IIRC (x3). The amps are very "dense" as well - even the wiring weighs a good 20lbs.
I know my 215lb fat-ass makes the truck sink noticeably when I get into the cargo area
PS - Mine is an SR5 with "cushy" stock suspension - maybe that also plays a role...As you were
2011 4Runner SR5. No mods so far (other than factory Nav). Looking at getting a lift and some new tires.
Is that Shoreline Blue I am seeing of your SR5?
