Messing around some back roads in Montana in the still pretty new SR5. I put some Trail running boards on despite website warnings against fit (they fit fine). Will have to stay mostly stock for now for lack of $$$, but will upgrade tires someday - maybe wheels too.
My wife and I are amateur wildlife photogs and caught this fellow on the way home from getting our plates from the county. Let me know if photos without 4Runners are not welcome.
Half our miles have been off pavement so far, but no real trails yet ... well, maybe one pretty bad forest road in the Swan valley that was off the map and dwindled down to nothing after some miles - it's good to be out of cell phone service range :biggrin1:

Thanks, but no build tread just Icon coilovers, TC uppers front, Icon coils, Icon with remote reservoirs shocks in back and 285/70 17 Nitto Terra Grapplers
About 60 miles south of my home in Montana is the National Bison Range - a good sized refuge with a lot of wildlife that can be viewed from a 17 mile dirt road
y wife and I visit often to "shoot" the animals and scenery. Some days are better than others, but we always see something (bears, wolf, coyote, bighorn, elk,
ronghorn etc.). Here are a few shots - trying to include the '14 SR5P, which we are falling in love with.
Sitting at the top of the "summit" on the loop road (before adding the running boards):
50 miles in the other direction is Glacier National Park, where I hope to someday catch a couple of shots with the T4R and a grizz.

Thanks! I will be trying to control myself for a bit - don't want to monopolize this thread. It's just that a new 4Runner combined with a photo nut in Montana can make for a troubling forum post whore. It's funny, the guys on the photo forum don't care too much for "car pictures".
