I have toytec in the front and Old Man Emu heavies in the rear in my FJ. The Toytecs are great but the OME Heavies are rough without A LOT of weight in the rear. Toytec seems to me to be the best bang for the buck. Hope that helps!

Thanks! Yea, her rig has a long way to go! She's big into wheels and tires so I think that's where she'll start. Probably just a spacer lift to begin with. She has a hard time jumping in the FJ. Plus, they forgot the "oh sh!t" handle on the drivers side in the 4runner. So far she's loving the runner and I no longer have to drive everywhere!

Hey guys, newcomer here. I've been looking for a replacement for my 2WD '04 4Runner SR5 for the last 3 months and this forum has been a tremendous help. The posts and photos throughout this site are excellent. During my search for an appropriate replacement (considered Audi, BMW, Honda, Acura) I looked through many boards, but found nothing that compares to this site in terms of dedication and activity paired with a love for quality and technology.

I picked up a new, black 2011 4Runner TE w/ KDSS last Saturday. Had to commute over 300 miles just to get there, but it was absolutely worth it. Today was the day I was going to take a few photos for this board so I washed it properly, then drove off into the countryside. All clean and shiny, I decided to take a country road towards what looked like a nice hill.

Several inches of unexpected mud forced me to deliver these photos. (On a positive note: a similar experience with my previous 2WD 4R left me stranded at 1:30 am about half a mile away from the road. Two drunk farmers pulled me out)

Here is my 2010 TE. Bought it in summer of 2010 and mostly in stock. Only the followings are modified and installed:

- Gladiator Running Boards installed
- FIAMM El Grande Horns - (I just found another horn next to air-intake box, anyone? I will another FIAMM horn there again later next month)
- Front black out toyota emblem (the rear will follow soon)
- LEDs interior lights- Dome, door, cargo, steps
- PIAA - Ion Yellow Fog Lights
- PIAA Extreme White Turn Signals (Back and Front)
- PIAA Extreme White DRL lights
- PIAA Extreme Back Up lights
- 3" Billet Aluminum Black Bullet Antenna

I was getting crazy on the trail at night up in the mountains a few weekends ago, slid on ice and slammed into my buddys Yota. All fixed now though with a new TRD cold air intake system and a 3" lift with Kings.
