5th gen T4R turn off NAVI

I just purchased a brand new 2011 T4R limited. I was testing the Navi from my house to my parents. I got there, but when I left my parents house to my buddies house without using the navi (ince it's only a couple miles away), the Navi kept on trying to take my back to my mom. It gets really annoying from the listening to the lady giving me directions back to my parents house and with the music playing as well. I couldn't find out how to turn the navi off but to just turn off the sound of the nav. Any ideas on how to turn it off when not intended to use. Thank you

Goto destination (DEST) and then goto delete destination.

I suggest you read thru the Navigation manual that came with the truck to familarize yourself with all the Nav's functions/features.

Also, here's little intro.
