6 Disc JBL HU Text Button

ok, i made some home cdr's with cd-text on them. now when i play them in the HU and hit the text button to show the song text, it will only show so much of the info and then chop off the rest and show a > . im taking this as there is more info to show but it will not scroll the extra info. anyone know a way to make the text scroll in the display?

on some songs, the artist is only shown if it is a long artist title, and other times when the artist title is short, it will show both the artist and song title, so i know it read the whole field for artist and title on the long artist entry. i tried playing with the text button but it only cycles between the different functions and nothing else.

yea, hold the text button.

so just hold the text button longer than just a momentary push, sorta like setting the radio channel buttons i take it.

Anyone know if this thing plays Mp3's?

from what i remember in the manual, it will only play normal audio cd's that are burned on cdr's and on certain cdrw's. it never mentions anything about mp3's.

I was hoping it would play MP3s too. But no luck.
