6 inch lift, help!

I own a 1997 T4R. It already has a 3 inch ToyTec spacer lift on it.
I want to go to a 6 inch lift in the spring but I am spacing as to how. Haha

I've heard that doing a 3 in suspension combined with a 3 in spacer lift gets the job done but I honestly have no idea how to go about this.
Is combining body and suspension going to be my best bet?
Aaaahh, help!

Thanks guys. If you need more specific info, just ask.

Hopefully someone else will chime in on this that's knows more than I do. But I think the only way will be to do some kind of combination of spring and body lift. A 6 inch suspension only lift would murder your CVs. Fabtech has a bracket lift for the Tacoma that is a six inch lift and can be made to work on 4runners though.

Exactly right.
IF you tried to get 6" of lift out of the front springs, you will max them out and have no down travel (droop).

Some of us have maxed out the fronts (and still have some down travel) at about 4" and in back with OME 861 coils (about 5") or the 851 coils (about 6").

You could do something like the toytec ultimate lift, and then put on 2 inch body lift on. That's about as much as you can go. That's a lot of lift too.

What's the plan use for it? If it's to run trails, get rid of the spacer and do a 3" lift with either a 1-2" body lift. If it's for looks, then look into the drop bracket kits. Just remember that if you do end up doing a drop bracket kit, there's no going back.
