60,000 Mile Service Question

When I do my 60,000 mile service, in the area "Inspect the following," I don't know how to do everything. Can you guys point me somewhere that says how to do these things?

Inspect the following:
Automatic transmission fluid (I thought this was a closed system)
Front differential oil
Rear differential oil (just put my finger in top bolt hole?)
Steering gear box
Transfer case oil (4WD)

I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks!

Transmission check is technically just a visual, looking for leaks.
Differentials and transfer case, you’re just removing the fill plugs, with vehicle level ensure level within 5mm of bottom of fill hole. New gaskets recommended.
Check fluid condition of differentials. If dark, you may consider replacing, especially the rear if it’s never been done.
Steering gearbox, just visually inspect what you can see during an oil change and don’t sweat the rest.

If you tow or have oversize tires, the transmission fluid is supposed to be replaced at 60K per your service manual as well as your front, rear, and transfer case fluids
