Exactly what is done during this service? I have had the diff fluids and trans fluid changed. But the tech told me they also clean injectores and the inductions system. Is this something I can do myself versus paying them $200? Are they just going to change the filter and fluch injectors or what. Can someone enlighten me on what will be done and what needs to be done?

Thanks guys just wondering if they are shooting me some bull since when I had my oil changed at 63,000 nothing was mentioned about it but at 66,000 last week they said it needs to be done.

LOL. Unless someone can prove me wrong. All they do on the "Fuel Injector/Induction" cleaning is spray throttle body cleaner for fuel injection vehicles into the throttle body. You can do it yourself for $5.00 - $10 depending on the brand cleaner you get. I like Valvoline Synthetic.

O an I do that every other oil change along with fuel injection cleaner in the fuel tank every oil change.

Thanks, I figured it was some BS. The induction system is probabaly just replacing the filter. Dealerships what a ripoff.

Most shops do Bullshit that stuff and spray a can of Carb and choke down the ol intake.. But ive noticed when some techs are bored they Use the "carbvac " machine which supposdly cleans out the injectors...

That is a good idea. Why don't you ask them what exactly they are going to do. Hey your paying top dollar for it so you should know what they are going to do. Let us know if you do it.
