I originally ordered the 6000k temperature from the retrofit source. I liked the hint of blue but was very disappointed in the light output. I read that a higher temperature bulb gives less light output but I didn't think 6000k was enough to really matter. I decided to buy the 5000k bulbs to see how they would compare. It is a HUGE difference in light output. They still have a tiny bit of blue and have the benefit of looking completely stock.
I know that I had trouble deciding between 5000k and 6000k so I decided to help others out. If you're wanting higher light output than stock stay between 4300k and 5000k. The 6000k's were duller than my stock halogens.
Probably a bad way to sell these, but I have 6000k bulbs for sale. 30 shipped. H11.
