Where did you order from?
Thmotorsports, they said that when a back order happens, you get put in a list and when supply becomes available Bilstein ships based on when someone made it on to the back order list.

I work for the planning department...it looks like your region has very minimal usage for those 6112's. We've only sold 3 for the year. But looks like there are PO's due in the end of December.
I had thought about going full King or Icon, but in the end I am only doing a 1.14" lift in the front (6112 3/2 notches). I think the Bilstein 6112/5160 setup for $892 bucks shipped was hard to beat for improved ride quality and a mild lift.

The lift amount and the shock I choose don't really have any direct influence in my decision making... My problem is the lack of adjustability.
Even if I was running a stock height, I would opt for the best damper I could get for my application.
Unfortunately for my application, the 6112 is falling short in some areas, but it gets me 70-80% there as is. I just need to back off the sauce in certain driving conditions because the valving on the 6112 is too open for higher speed stuff, and being a digressive piston isn't helping the situation.
BUT I do agree, that combo is hard to beat from a value standpoint.
If I had the OPs predicament at the time, it would have probably forced that buy once cry once purchase because I am already planning on upgrading again after a couple years of owning the 6112.

I appreciate the heads up. So pissed.
Ive heard very little from them over the last 5 months with repeated emails calls msgs. I got part of my order, shipped wrong stuff (which i should have held as collateral), gotten run around.
Opening a fraud case today with my CC.

yeah i almost ordered from them too because the prices were just so good.
but usually for smaller stores i gotta do my due diligence. the internets is just too creepy lol.
ive read on t4r and tw some people got their items no prob but i just didnt want to risk it. and i didnt want to wait either lol.
I ordered 6112s for my 2010 4RT KDSS on 1/5/18; told two weeks, then early February, then late February, then mid-March; still nothing. I called Bilstein the other day and they said now looking at mid April. Thought about doing ICON set up, but, service life of 40k miles to rebuild isn't attractive; probably not much difference in ride quality. I have 5100s now ... they blew out during my December off road trek, at 56k miles, and I'm hearing not-to-friendly sounds up front. I feel like a East LA low rider ... no offense ... the way my truck rides at the moment. Hopefully the 6112s arrive before something bad happens. Thought about going Bilstein 4600s until the others arrive, which may be quite a while the way it's going now. Thats my rant for the day. I'll let you know when they arrive ... Please do the same.
