6'6"... 2010 Trail, 2018 TRD Off Road or 2008 Land Cruiser?!

I'm 6'3" and equal parts legs and torso. I like to sit somewhat upright with the steering wheel telescoped as far as possible so I can have the seat as far back as possible.

5th gen 4Runner without sunroof: I fit with about 3-4" of headroom with the seat in the lowest setting.

5th gen 4Runner with sunroof: only about 1-2" of headroom with seat at the lowest setting.

2016 Land Cruiser: my head touches the roof with the seat at the lowest setting unless I lean uncomfortably far back.

Really?! Guess i’ll have to hop in one... problem may solve itself lol

Hate to hi-jack the thread, but you guy are like giants to me. I am 5-2 and feel like I am driving a monster truck, at least that is what my son, call the truck. Well good luck in your decision.:rapture:

You're going to have to try out the different vehicles and decide for yourself.

As you can see from the responses here, everybody likes a different feel to their vehicle and everybody is built differently.

As far as I go, I'm 6'5 and hover between 270 and 280 and I don't feel cramped in my TRD Off Road (sans sunroof) at all. Then again, I've driven a lot of different vehicles and know what cramped really means.

I'm 6'-4", have a sunroof and probably have 3" from the top of my head to the ceiling. It's close enough that a bit of static sometimes makes my hair cling to the headliner. I have the same inseam as you (36"), so your torso is probably a bit longer than mine.

I'm 6'4" and driving is fine.

As a passenger, since the front passenger seat cannot be adjusted up or down so I do on occasion bump my head at the edge of the sunroof.

My general rule of thumb is if I am the one paying with my cash I make the decision otherwise if wifey wants a 2-5k a year in maintenance ride in the garage and is willing to pay 100% of those cost with her own moolah then go at it!

My tall friends have had no issue with my 4Runner as of yet.

I actually proposed a GX470 to my wife as I could find one with close to 100K miles for close to $10K but she doesnt like the idea of having two of the same truck in the garage...

She still has her heart set on a G-wagon or a Range Rover entering the garage but with the possibility of $2-5K a year to keep them on the road... I think this line of thinking is smarter.

I can easily tow a motorcycle trailer behind a 4Runner or borrow her car for heavier towing tasks. Or rent a Uhaul and trailer and get the job done that way... we'll see

I'm right in [MENTION=113833]e60ral[/MENTION] neighborhood but I'm also thin & I find I have constantly adjust on long drives but that's ok if it keeps me sorta comfortable ! But man cpl hrs driving the ol bladder starts pushing so 1st no services exit I'm off ! Did that long haul shit when I was young & need my stretching & a pee now !

What is this seperate income you speak of in marriage??

I wish I could get my wife to take interest in LC’s, GX’s and LX’s, but she’s too conservative, financially. Plus, she thinks the G-Wagon is ugly which is just outright offensive. Some days I question my decision; maybe I thought I could’ve changed her....

You too.. drives me batty (my kids think i am anyway) with the static and hair. 6'4" with a TRD ORP with a moon/sun roof.

I am 6'4" with only a 32" inseam (all torso), I have a 2016 Trail and I have adequate headroom with the seat bottomed out. I now have more headroom than my 2006 SR5, I think the power seats helped in MY16. I could not get into any of the Premiums, SR5 or Trail now TRDOR with the sunroof.

I had the dealership add aftermarket heated seats to sweeten the deal. They work great and the switches are in the stock position.
