6620 Install PICS!!

I did not do the install, I the the installers exactly what I wanted, as far as install kits, look, antenna, and location of ipod and BT device. I plan on hiding the BT device under the console because all the functions work from my phone. The antenna was mounted up top in the roof rack (thanks to whoever posted that earlier!). There were a few problems that needed to be addressed after the initial install, as follows:
*the illumination wire needed to be hooked up
*the speed pulse wire need to be connected also
*The BLINKING Volume Display was due to the BT incorrectly calibrated or hooked up.
*I had the shop attempt to remount the bracket holes to push the deck back 1/4 inch, but they said it wasnt going to fit so Im happy with it! The shop used both the metra and the scosche kit and they used the metra i believe... I will find out and reply later.

All works great as it should, this is my 2nd eclipse H/U and I love the functions of it.

Yeah man, if i had known the Kenwood had the BT built in I would have went for that. Also the kenwoods look alot nicer mounted, they look more factory from the pics other users have posted. but they ll do the same thing, the AVN just has like 10 wire harness connect/reconnecters... lol

Just installed this on the 4R.....Had the Check engine light come on.....plugged it in and it said the speed sensor malfunction. Everything works fine....Shifts, speedometer works...Any problems with yours???

Bowtie, No check engine lights, all on the Runner works as should. The only issue I've had is with a certain mp3 file the AVN froze, I could switch to map and go to radio/ipod function but the mp3 reader froze. I went to eject the cd and the unit froze in the open mode??? I pulled over, turned off the vehicle, and waited 30 seconds, then i restarted and all worked fine... This happened 2 times with the same mp3 cd, ON the same mp3 file, So i believe its a corrupt mp3 file. We spoke earlier when i was buggin on some issues, but its all resolved now. they originally didnt hook up the speed sensor, which makes the gps on the map not as accurate is it should be. Also the BT was hooked up wrong which was why the volume display wouldnt stop flashing, but they fixed all that.
