3cyl turbo hybrid crossover with a cvt and fwd biased awd. bust out your wallets gentlemen
agree, they gotta appease the beta malesWho cares? 5th gen is the last real 4Runner.
6th gen will be a "truck" for soyboy overlanders.
I have to say I truly love my 4Runner, but this could be a potential win...especially if they neuter the Runner.
"As for the iconic Land Cruiser, the U.S. model will reportedly be sold only with five seats as a “serious off-roader” without an emphasis on luxury. It will be heavily based on the next Tundra and offered at a significantly lower price, but its launch date is not known at this point."

What I found most interesting about that article was the comment about the next Land Cruiser being offroad focused with less emphasis on luxury and a lower price point. Finally, an LC that the rest of the world has had access to.
Pretty much this...also assuming that it's also not some unholy "joint venture" with BMW, Mazda, or Subaru. Though it would be nice if they took some cues from Dodge / Ram on it (and maybe even the 4Runner if it survives). Like a true offroad package...not some yakima basket strapped to the top and calling it a day.If they can get it under 60k and with the roll down rear window I am in.

Somehow not the worst thing ever. Looks better on the runner then the bmw's. It's a 'kidney grill' not a damn dual torso grill.
Since it will be 2023, quadruple the grille size and add a turdo 4 popper with fart shift technology.
