Not a direct comparison, but Honda Pilot sales are down 25.8%.
I agree with Derek concerning SUV's in general.
But look at minivans....
SIENNA increased 7.5%
ODYSSEY increased 29.6%
It might be an incorrect inferrence, but maybe some potential SUV buyers are considering minivans.

SUV Sales Down
I don't know how true it is or what their 'base' figure is, but our local radio station news reported that sales of the full-size Chevrolet Tahoe have decreased by fifty percent! Considering the deep discounts currently offered on new GM vehicles, this does not bode well for the General.
What remains to be seen is whether those "lost sales" were to smaller & more fuel-efficient vehicles sold by GM or to competing SUV makers.

Didn't the honda odessy come out last year? Don't most manufacturers keep supply low when they first release a vehicle?
Maybe thats why there's a difference in percentage gains. i.e. sell a few more than a few,= larger gains than selling a little more that a lot...
