7 blade trailer connector placement

As the title states, I'm wanting to add a 7 blade trailer connector to my 4Runner just don't know where to put it. I used to have one hanging from the tow hitch and I immediately tore it off going up a dirt hill.[emoji12] now I need to replace it and wanting to put it somewhere dirt, rocks or anything will hit it and take it off. Any have ideas or can show me what they've done? Saw a guy drill into his rear bumper, right in the middle. Not sure about that.

Next to the hitch as tight to the bottom of the bumper is about the most protective place you can put it if you don't want to drill into the bumper.

Just put it in the bumper. Do it even half right, and it will look better than anything hanging from anywhere else out back.
