So maybe while we correctly blame those that incited and caused the trouble in Charlotte after the shooting of Scott...........the family just released a high quality video of what looks eerily like two "throw away" guns flicked out & appearing on the ground after Scott was not moving at all. If it is what I think it is that very, very sad and I would totally understand why there is distrust on the streets.

Why aren't they rioting/protesting in Oklahoma? That's where they should riot if the movement is genuine.

Many people believe there is more at play - like the fact that NC is a swing state and a place where HRC needs voter turnout. Oklahoma is squarely in Trump's hands so the investment in resources there would not produce as great of a return on the investment as they might in NC.

It's much easier to cry racism/foul than it is to look introspectively at one's action/inaction. Nobody wants to acknowledge victimhood from their own actions - that requires change and change is tough. It is much easier to play the blame game because the responsibility of change is on someone else.

Basically Kaepernick hooked up with an activist. That's what happened and still happening. He could say his eyes have been "opened" by her political views but in reality, he is doing her bidding because he has the bully pulpit and she doesn't. I would think of him differently if he was like this all along but to suddenly *poof* become an activist? Sorry.

i agree what he is doing looks more like a stunt than anything, but the reaction was (and still is, clearly) huge, so the masses gave him what he wanted. and we are still here talking about it.

it is a free country after all and we are allowed to change our views, stances, opinions, and beliefs at will. That is why i love this country.
