70 to 75 series tires?

Can anyone tell me of any potential problems replacing my stock P265-70R16 tires with P265-75R16 on a 1997 4-Runner? I have found a great deal on a set of BF Goodrich Rugged Trail TA's but they are 75 series.

I don't know of any "problems". You might get a little worse gas milage.

Upgrading to the 75 would give you a little lift.

I run 265/75's and my speedometer is actually correct now. Many people have reported the same. Mileage is pretty much the same.

I noticed the same. Factory calibration of the speedo can vary by as much as 5%, I've heard.

I put on the exact same tires you are talking about { BFG Rugged Trail T/A 265/75/16} about a month ago and I couldn't be happier!! :biggrin2: They are the ones pictured in my sig
