78 degrees in Wisconsin? In March? Really!??

This has been the most ridiculous winter ever. Ive spent the last 6 years in Wisconsin as a student, and am now graduated living here for the time being. The past 5 winters have basically all been the same. REALLY cold, with lots of snow. Im pretty sure at this time of year last year is was in the 20s.

So right now its about 70 and sunny out. Yesterday was 78 and sunny. Has been 60s for the past week. And the 10 day outlook is all 60s and 70s. Is this real life? In Wisconsin?? Is it really March or am I confused? I have to admit Im loving this. Ive done more work on my truck in the last week than I had for the past 3 months prior

So how about the rest of you? I know its been a warm winter accross the US. But has it been this extreame, or is this just a weird Wisconsin thing?

Same thing here in Indy. It insane. Last year around this time we were still chipping ice off everything. And I'm with you, I've done more work lately just so I can take advantage of the weather. I just hope it stays this way, and doesn't get cold all of a sudden.

I'm in South Dakota, which is anything BUT south, and we've had a really mild one, too. Here lately we've been in the 60's and 70's...bizarre. And snow? What little we got blew somewhere else. I'm not even a winter person, and I still feel cheated (LOL). Oh well, there's always Spring to catch up on our blizzards!

Kansas has been the same! We got a ton of snow the last couple years and hardly any this year! It was 82 here yesterday and we're in the high 70's all week. I love it, hope we don't have a horrible summer though.

Montana has SUCKED for winter too. I like the snow, but with 60 deg or so its hard to keep the purdy white stuff around.

summer fire season is going to suck this year.

Same thing in NJ. Should be in the mid 40's this time of year but Mon-Wed was in 70's. I never was able to play basketball outdoors in March! I will take that

Wow. Its definately gotta be close to a record warm winter accross the US. Now watch the summer be like record cold! I sure hope not

Its been the 4th warmest winter here in Indiana since like 1895 or something...I'm loving it especially since all the forecasters here were telling us last fall that it was going to be a terrible winter, worse than last years. So of course at work we bought extra plows, 2 tons of extra ice melt, and a bunch of other snow stuff, and we haven't even touched it. No one else could be wrong that often and still keep their jobs!

Last year was very heavy, and it was one of the wettest years ever here if not the wettest. I have no problem with it being 70's out, It was 70 this week, but right now it's 45 today lol.
