7th Annual FJ Summit Ouray Colorado

The date is set for the FJ Summit
July 17th - 21st.

Summit registration is not open yet but the hotels in Ouray are going fast. I regestered at the KOA for a tent spot and the options were limited.

There were a few 4Runners last year, including vendors (Metal Tech)

Anyone planning on going this year?

We actually had about dozen 4Runners last year... The great DC convoy... the Dallas convoy... and custom shirts... it was great meeting everyone and we all had a blast on the trails.

You'll have an awesome time. I highly recommend Spangler House for a B&B. Close to the best Western (FJ Summit HQ) and great Hoosier Hospitality from the owners (they hail from Indiana originally).

I'll be out on the east coast this year for the 150 anniversary at Gettysburg on July 4th.

I was hoping to attend this year but have a conflict due to a family reunion in Estes Park, CO. I will be in Ouray on the 22-24 though so if anyone decides to stay after the official end of the Summit let me know.

I'm coming again this year and staying the whole time...worst decision ever last year. I'll be coming straight from my honeymoon so I look forward to escaping. Gotta start it off on the right foot.

LimaMike talked about a house rental...? Otherwise I will try to be at the KOA although I enjoyed camping up at Amplitheater Campground.

Can't wait to meet up with everyone again.

Fox: if you plan on going keep me in the loop, maybe we can convoy down from Denver.

Yes sir, I plan on being there. Probably going to head out Tuesday, maybe Monday. I took the week off.

Last year I had my granddaughter and it did not work out so well so I left early. I was camped next to Jonesey and Limamike, I bet they thought I was ultra unfriendly. Just to much stress with a 3 year old. This year I am just bring me so I can enjoy everything.

If you can leave on Monday or Tuesday we can convoy.

As a new owner of TE living in Durango, I'd really like to meet up with some of you experienced veterans in Ouray. My main reason for the TE is to drive the trails between Durango, Ouray and Telluride this summer (and next, and next, etc). Looks like 4Runners are OK at the FJ Summit, I'll keep watching this thread for updates. J
