80k Service (Air Filter...)

I just hit 82k miles. So I'm due for an oil change.

I also noticed that its been about about 1.5 years since I changed my air filter, but I have only put 10k miles on the air filter.

Am I due for an air filter change too? Also, what else should I look for at 82k? Last friday I was driving and than my engine just jumped at a red light and the CEL came on, but I turned it off and started it up and it hasn't happened since. Should I get it checked out or should I jsut uby the air filter and get my oil changed?

Yeh, what he said and... Unless you know the history it's probably a good idea to change fluids front to back. Often times I find axle, t-case, radiator and transmission fluid gets over looked. If you get them occasionally most of those components will last virtually indefinitely. With the radiator fluid consider your mileage accrual rate, you are coming up on a timing belt (I think you have a belt). Generally speaking that's a great opportunity to do the radiator fluid. If you don't drive much and it's going to be a long time before you get to the belt you may want to change it now. Old radiator fluid doesn't protect the system from corrosion nearly as well as new fluid.

Hum.. Ya I was thinking about doing everything at 90,000 with the big checkup at the mechanic. And just trying to get away with an oil change at my local penzoil and maybe change my air filter to True Flow. Think I should wait or just get it done now?

If you're really going to do it at 90k and you top everything you should be ok. Just don't underestimate the importance of doing those items with some regularity.
