8000k HID kit

So I purchased an HID kit on ebay and ordered the 8000k temperature. Has anyone run these? I'm wondering if I possibly bought some that are going to be too bright.

I had some on my 02 4Runner, they are light blue when they first turn on for about a minute, but after they heat up they're really white with a hint of blue.
