I wanted to buy a die hard but the stores near me didn't have my size in stock. I also used to work for sears corporate and I just don't see them lasting much longer. They're probably going to start selling off their big brands like craftsman, Kenmore, die hard etc in the not so distant future. Who knows where the quality will go from there.
I just bought an interstate from Costco. They're cheap, haven't failed me yet and costco has a great return policy.
Eventually I'll go with the biggest deepest cell battery I can get.

From around 1957 I bought the Die Hards at Sears, about six years ago when i wanted to just buy a new Die Hard battery, not wanting a warranty just a time change at four years, they demanded to check the old battery and also check my charging system.
I just wanted a new battery to take home, not having them install it.
But they insisted, i left went right across the street, picked up a new Wal Mart battery, took it home installed it and was good to go.
That was the last time i ever bought a battery at Sears, today i pass through their service Dept. on way to the Mall, and if there is two cars in the large service building, there lucky.
People just don't trust Sears today for any service work, or tires batteries or anything including Sears brand washers and dryers.
People today don't even buy their over priced hand tools, their replacement policies were changed, no more just bring a busted tool and get a replacement no cost. That is all history today.
