85 4runner hitch?

i bought a hitch off of a 85 long bed and it wont fit on my 4runner. the body mount is in the way and even if i got it to fit the mount would rub the shackel. an one running a hitch and what u had to do to install?

Where are you located? I've still got the one from my '88. should be the same. But would be kinda expensive to send through the mail. Willing to sell it to you.

Actually shipping a hitch via UPS ground is not to expensive. I did it not long ago and it was about $30

i live in scappoose OR about 20 miles from portland. i did some fab work on got mine to work but its a quick fix just for next weekend. still looking for a good one.

I'll try to get a photo up tomorrow night. kinda busy the last few days. But I believe it should fit from the 88 to a 85

It mounted by nuts and bolts. As I recall directly to the frame. I don't have the nuts or bolts anymore I had to cut one off when removing this. It weighs about 50 lbs or so, and does have some rust.

You mean that thin piece of steel that wouldn't have held up to a Kia? Yeah it fit.

the way it looks like it mounts up would b hitting the shackel mounts. i wounder if after 4runners went to ifs and the wider rear end is the mount was moved. how much u wantting and u know what shipping would b to 97056?
