I have an 04 V8 Limited 4Runner with about 85k miles on it. Most are highway miles (right now avg 400-600 miles most weeks)
I am preparing to install my TRD Supercharger over Christmas and want to get my maintenance up to date first.
That brings up the main question: What other fluids should I be (or should I have been) changing?
I've been using synthetic oil at 5k to 8k intervals. Even though the Mobil 1 syn is good for more miles, don't want to trust a filter too long (Using Purolator plus).
I also fill the windshield washer fluid when it gets empty, and the fuel tank a couple times a week with premium.
(I'm not really that bad, but I use my vehicle for travel, work, play, whatever. I don't spend a bunch of time on cleaning or primping)
From what I understand, the transmission is sealed, so nothing to do there.
1. What about the coolant? Best replacement?
2. Front and rear diff's need anything?
3. I've changed the air filter, but will install a fresh one in preparation.
4. I have to order a cabin air filter (yeah, doing it because I haven't yet)
5. Brake fluid? I've heard some say "yeah" and others say it doesn't really matter.
6. Use Seafoam? Have used in ATVs, but not in 4runner yet.
7. Any drivetrain lubes/grease/etc?
8. Anything else?
Currently working out the fuel management and wideband O2 items as we get ready. Any other suggestions are welcomed.
