87 22RE Problems

Hey, I'm new member to the website. I have just had problem after problem with my yota. The latest and worst is this:

I put some seafoam in a full tank of gas to give my injectors a little clean. On this tank I have gotten horrible gas mileage and power loss. I want to think it is just the seafoam making my truck run like ****, but I have no idea if some other component went out or something. When I give it gas it hesitates and jolts around roughly. I have to drive at a lot higher rpm's to get the power I need to accelerate and go up hills. Sound familiar to anyone? Any help is appreciated!!

Thanks for the input. I ran out the tank with the seafoam and put regular unleaded in. It runs a little better but still hesitates a tiny bit and still feels like there is power missing. I'm going to try putting seafoam straight to the injectors to get out the junk that might have been loosed from the seafoam in the gas tank.

I'd think new plugs and wires too. If you think the seafoam kicked crap into the injectors, you'll probably need to change the fuel filter and pull the injectors for a proper cleaning as well.

How does it idle?

So I ended up adjusting the valves because one was loose and noisy and it really helped a lot. I also replaced the distributer cap and rotor. Restored a lot of power and runs a lot better! I looked into replacing the fuel filter but it is such a hard place to get to. Thanks for all your input!
